WE ARE OPEN but are practicing safe social distancing within the store. We also are offering drop off and pickup at the door, and payment over the phone. All of our merchandise is able to be purchased on our website, and parts and accessories can be shipped to your home.
While bikes are in short supply, we have backorders arriving regularly, and with a deposit you can reserve one of these rather than wait until fall when manufacturers should have open stock.
Along with the demand for bikes, there is also a backlog for service. We are usually still able to repair flats, chains, and minor brake or derailleur adjustments, in 48 hours but are scheduling tune-ups by appointment only.
If you choose to come in the store, we ask that you observe the 6' social distancing for your safety, and if willing, wear a mask so that of our staff can serve you safely.
BREAKAWAY has MOVED!
After 25 years at 17 W William Street, we have relocated to 220 E William Street (the former Community Market/State store).
We are 5 blocks east of our former location, just past Lake St, and the new bike trail bridge.
We are excited to welcome you here with plenty of parking. We are just a block from the head of the bike trail, and plan to have a mountain bike test track behind the store.
Come see us at our new location
